New Orlando Mobile Groomer Goes to the dogs! ( and cats, too.)

Biscuit, a 5 year old Male Golden Retriever, paces back and forth in front of the door, slobbery tennis ball in mouth, at 9 am every 3rd Friday of the month. He is waiting and watching for Melody and her truck, A Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Spaw LLC, to pull up in the driveway delivering professional pet grooming services right to his owners front door. Finally! She is HERE!!!

   Barbara, Biscuit’s mommy, can barely get past him to greet Melody at the door and exchange “Good mornings” . Biscuit knows Melody will throw him the ball at least a dozen times while going over his grooming instructions with his mommy, Then Barbara will sign her work order, turning Biscuit over into Melody’s capable hands, and go back inside the house to finish tending to her morning business.

   Melody throws the ball for Biscuit one last time then asks him to load up in her 1986 Chevy P30 Step van. You are sure to have seen her cruising around town in it. Yes, it’s that BIG white one with the Pink and black paw prints. Melody and her Fiancé Todd spent nearly two months converting the truck themselves, working hard to ensure a prestigious atmosphere and comfortable an experience as possible for both the pet and the groomer.

   After Biscuit has settled onto his spot in the truck, a custom made grooming pedestal for larger dogs (to alleviate fear of being high off the ground) , Melody begins his grooming by cleaning out the hair between the pads of the feet, trimming and filing nails, cleaning the ears and brushing out Biscuits long golden coat. Then its into another custom feature of Melody’s special step van, a walk in shower to accommodate large pets (saving melody’s back from having to lift them into the tub she also has for smaller dogs and cats). After his soothing Oatmeal soak and a silk conditioning rinse, Biscuit is hand fluffed dry and his long luxurious coat is brushed again to ensure there are no hidden mats or snarls. After paw shakes, sloppy kisses and a little cologne and a designer bandanna Biscuit is pacing all over again, slobbery ball in mouth, ready to go back in the house and show mommy his new ‘do.

   Melody opens the door, reminder card for Biscuit’s next appointment in hand, and Biscuit runs up the driveway right for the front door of his house. Barbara, his mommy opens the door and lets him in, gleefully oohing and ahhing over how good he looks and smells, how handsome he is with his stylish new bandanna. Barbara pays Melody $35.00 for this convenient service and even slips her a little extra for always being so kind with her Boy, Biscuit. After Thanking Barbara and giving her a reminder card for her next appointment Melody is off to the next house to deliver a smile with her professional pet grooming services.
